IKEA’s VINTERFINT artificial Christmas tree is available in the UK for £99 and measures 240cm, or just under 8ft. Customer reviews describe it as realistic, sturdy and easy to assemble, though IKEA has not published its branch-tip count and the tree’s appearance is best judged in person.
IKEA’s VINTERFINT artificial Christmas tree, priced at £99 and standing 240cm (nearly 8ft) tall, is now available in the UK, with early customer reviews praising its realistic appearance, sturdiness and ease of assembly. The tree is listed as suitable for indoor and outdoor use, although IKEA has not disclosed its branch-tip count, a detail that can help shoppers assess how full and lifelike an artificial tree may look.
Customer feedback quoted by Ideal Home includes one shopper who said it was their first artificial tree and that it “looks almost the same as a real xmas tree.” The reviewer also described it as sturdy and easy to assemble, and said they preferred it to other artificial trees they had seen in London. Another customer called it a “beautiful authentic-looking Swedish-style tree” and said it displayed ornaments well with ball lights.
The reported £99 price and 240cm height are the main selling points. Ideal Home’s Room Decor Editor, Sara Hesikova, said the tree looked realistic in IKEA’s images and that its height compared favourably with more expensive trees commonly sold at 6ft or 7ft. She cautioned, however, that shoppers would need to see it in person to judge its realism because the branch-tip count had not been provided.
According to the report, VINTERFINT is available both for delivery and in IKEA stores. The article also points readers to other lower-priced options, including a 7ft B&Q Valais tree listed at £50 in a Black Friday promotion. That price and availability relate to a separate retailer and promotion; they do not establish how long the IKEA tree will remain in stock or at its current price.
A Tall Tree Below £100
The VINTERFINT’s combination of near-8ft height and a £99 price gives shoppers looking for an artificial tree a lower-cost option than models that can sell for several hundred pounds, according to Ideal Home. The height may suit rooms with higher ceilings, while an artificial tree can be reused rather than replaced each festive season.
Those benefits still depend on household needs and the actual product. A large tree needs enough floor space and suitable storage, and customer reviews are individual impressions rather than a controlled comparison with real trees or competing artificial models. Shoppers considering it can use the reviews as an early indication, but should check the dimensions, intended placement and product details before buying.

What IKEA’s Listing Establishes
The report identifies the product as the IKEA VINTERFINT Artificial Christmas Tree, in green, at a stated height of 240cm. It says the model is intended for indoor and outdoor use and can be bought online for delivery or in-store. These are the listed product details reported by Ideal Home; the source material does not provide a fuller specification.
Ideal Home frames the tree as a budget choice during the Christmas shopping period and compares it with other lower-priced trees. Its mention of B&Q’s £50 7ft Valais tree refers to a Black Friday offer described in that report, while the Habitat alternatives are separate products. Those comparisons provide shopping context, but their prices, features and availability may differ and should not be treated as a direct product test.
““First time getting a fake tree, and I must say it looks almost the same as a real xmas tree. It’s very sturdy and easy to assemble.””

Details Shoppers Cannot Yet Compare
IKEA has not revealed the branch-tip count in the source report, so readers cannot use that specification to compare the tree’s density with other models. The cited customer comments are positive, but they do not establish how the tree looks in every home or how it performs over repeated seasons. The report also does not give independent testing results, materials information, assembly instructions or warranty details.
Stock levels and the duration of the £99 price are not stated. The source says the tree is available in stores and for delivery, but availability can vary by location and change over time. The date of the original report is not supplied, so its price and stock information should be checked against IKEA’s current listing before purchase.
Check Current Stock and Specifications
Shoppers interested in the VINTERFINT can check IKEA’s current product listing for price, delivery options and local store availability. Visiting a store may help people judge the tree’s fullness and finish, particularly because the branch-tip count is not given in the report. Buyers should also confirm that its 240cm height and indoor-or-outdoor listing suit their intended space.
No further product announcement, restock date or price change is included in the source material. The next confirmed step for prospective buyers is to check the retailer’s live listing; whether the tree will remain available at £99 is unknown.
